Thanks for the great fishing outing. The 450 lb Blue Marlin did not hurt the morale of everyone on the boat. We will call again when we visit next year. Pictures on the way.

Thanks, Colonel John and Michelle

We want to let you know the guys were great! We had a life time memorable trip and when we got home today the only thing my Son talked about was the fishing trip. Those guys were the most caring and patient guides I have every met. When I book my next trip I want them to guide my trip. When we got back to the hotel I heard other people talking about their fishing trips and not one person had a positive experience as we did. Don’t think for a second we didn’t mention Cabo Magic Fishing and The GL EXPRESS Crew. I have tournament fished and operated Bass Boat’s for over 20 years and the Captain handle the boat with such ease and care and made it a very pleasant trip. This was my wife’s first trip and she absolutely loved it.

The small details are what make the difference such as:

1.) The way they handled the boat in making our ride comfortable.

2.) The High fives they gave us when we caught a fish or even lost a fish.

3.) The respect they give to the water, fish and the sport.

4.) The constant reinsurance with making sure we were comfortable and having fun.

5.) The constant smiles; you could tell they love what they do!

6.) The respect I noticed they received from other anglers, store and bait personnel in the Marina.

7.) The sandwiches they brought and shared with us on the boat.

Thank you so much and you guys are first class!

Thanks for looking out for me. I had everything about the trip in a folder on my dining room table, it was still there when I arrived home last night.

We ended up having a great trip. The boat was in good shape. The crew was wonderful. The weather was great and we had the bonus of catching
fish. Three marlin and two Wahoo.

Thank You

...just got back. I really enjoyed your guide service because I was able to go on line and see what each captain had caught over the last 30 days and that is how I chose my boat. It worked perfectly. I chose the right captain and we had great fishing success. It was one of my most memorable fishing experiences and I have fished the Amazon in Brazil, Costa Rica, Australia, Washington, Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, and Florida.

thanks so much for all your help .. my daughter was able to land a marlin and what a joy to watch that .. we also landed tuna that day with four rods going off at once .. landed all four mostly due to the first mate's coolness under pressure .. very good mate yes ... you are absolutely right .. the fish gods smiled on us .. The crew of the Cabo Majic were super .. I tipped them as much as I could .. we felt right at home with Hector and his first mate .. super guys who take a lot of pride in what they do .. Miah and I will try to get some dates that match up in Oct. or Nov. .. I have football date that is open then but need to look at my schedule .. I will send some pics of our trip once we download from camera .. tight lines .. Rich Axxxxxxx

By Rev. Tim Farrell
Special to the Voice
FARMINGTON --

On Sunday, Aug. 22, I had the privilege of meeting Lance Corporal Jeremiah Anderson at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Jeremiah had come home from the war in Iraq, having been badly wounded there.

After a couple of months of miraculous recovery from severe injuries sustained when two mortar rounds hit him on July 2, he had come to this moment when his parish family gave him a rousing welcome home.

Jeremiah's picture has been hanging on all the entrances to the Church since his injuries in early July. Underneath his picture, it reads: "Pray for Lance Corporal Jeremiah Anderson, Sacred Heart parishioner, injured in Iraq."

I have known Jeremiah since he was 10 years old. As a little boy, I would visit with him in the sacristy before he served Mass on Sundays and he would often come and talk to me over the years after CCD as I stood outside saying farewell to the children each Wednesday night. He always wanted to be a Marine. It was his dream and he talked about it often.

He looks up to heaven and says to me, "My Catholic Faith means more to me now than ever. I know He's up there in charge of things. Obviously I'm here for a reason. He put us all here for some good thing. I remember in Iraq the guys in my platoon would talk about the possibility of dying and we'd figure out that if it was our time, then it was our time. There was a peace about it. God didn't cause it to happen. It just happened. But He was there no matter what and we had real peace. And I have that peace now."

With the possibility of a medical retirement at 19, Jeremiah looks forward, not back. "I want to be in forensics, working for a police department. That's what I'd really like to do. And I'd like to get married some day and have a family."

And Jeremiah, I am sure, will tell his kids about how proud he was to be a Marine. "The Marines are the best. There is no fighting force better than us in the world. I'm proud of being a Marine like I'm proud of being a Catholic, not in your face stuff, but just proud."

In Jeremiah's view, he has been blessed. God has a purpose for him and as we walk into the mid-day sunlight, I realize with great pride that the little boy I used to know is all grown up now. I walk with a proud Marine who has given his all to a noble purpose. God bless him. God bless them all.

Father Tim

Dear Cabo Magic where to start?

Jack and I returned home yesterday. We came to Cabo to celebrate our 27th anniversary. It has been many years since our last trip to Cabo, in fact, we were last there in 2001 and things sure have changed. We loved it all.

Jack was always talking about how he wants to catch a fish big enough to make his arms hurt and he got that dream fulfilled thanks to your crew aboard Cabo Magic. I think it was Hector and Chatto?

The truth is, Jack was commenting about how his forearms hurt!!! The striped marlin fight was amazing and the dorado was delicious.

Thank you for all of your suggestions. Thank you so much for answering all my emails!

We cant wait to come back.

Best fishes!!!! Jennifer

We had a great time. There was a delay in getting out because of a mechanical problem but it was solved. We were very sad to learn that our boat partners, Jim and Judy, had to return home because of a death in the family. I am so thrilled about the striped Marlin I caught May 25. The Captain said is was about 100"and 110" long and weight of approx. 140lbs. I will try to send pictures.
Thanks again

I just reconnected with the real world and turned on my blackberry. I wanted to let you know what a great fishing trip we enjoyed on Tuesday. Hector and first mate ( I never could understand his name) worked very hard and we caught 31 (or so) yellow fin. He asked if we wanted to catch marlin or just catch fish very early and I said that I wanted my kids to just catch fish ...did we ever! Three times all four of us had a fish on the line at the same time! It was an unbelievable day and we all loved it! Thanks. Pictures coming this weekend!

Please feel free to post any of them you want to use. We thank you again for everything. All the best, Katherine and Miguel

I can't say enough about how awesome and amazing the whole Cabo Magic team was. Lori made it so easy to plan our trip. She gave such thorough and detailed information I was trying to come up with a question and couldn't! The website was quite useful and informative. Everything you needed to know and what to expect was there.

Jonathan and George were the best crew ever! They are very skilled and helpful. Truly they made our entire vacation. Catching 2 nice tuna and a dorado helped too! I would recommend this awesome team to anyone seeking an incredible fishing adventure in Cabo. We'll definitely be back!

God bless,

I wanted to let you know how happy we are for booking a trip with Cabo Magic. Hector did a great job putting us on the fish, and keeping us entertained with his fish dance. It was a pleasure dealing with you before and after our trip. You truly did exceed my expectations, and for that we are very thankful. Here are a few pictures of our trip.

Thanks again! Hope to see you again next year….this time with a few kids along!

Thanks very much. Carlos and Jose were great and tried their best to catch something both offshore and inshore. They made it alot of fun for the kids, and that's what counts... next time we may ask you for something a bit bigger and newer. Overall, a great experience and many thanks to you for making us comfortable and arranging everything. Daniel
